Formed in November 1902 running a fleet of trams in the Barnsley area, Yorkshire Traction has grown into an operator of around three hundred buses and coaches throughout South and West Yorkshire, as well as becoming the largest privately-owned operator of bus services in the Country.
This DVD celebrates more than 100 years of Tracky, with a look at its modern day operations in Barnsley, Rotherham, Huddersfield and Doncaster, as well as now classic scenes from 1998 showing National 2's at work and some previously unseen cine film footage from the 80s.
Produced with the full co-operation of Yorkshire Traction and including the centenary rally and exclusive depot scenes at Central Works and Doncaster Depot, this DVD is the definitive video record of Tracky.
