Walks Around Britain

One of the beauties of walking is you don't need any special equipment to get outdoors.

But, there are several peices of clothing and equipment which greatly add to your confort and safety whilst out walking, and here we'll feature what we use.

These are the walking boots Andrew wears in the Walks Around Britain videos. They are a really sturdy boot, made for the wettest of conditions - but extremely wearable and comfortable in the hot, dry weather too.

They have minimal seems and a hightongue, and so cope well with moisture whilst you're out walking. The rugged ballistics-nylon upper sheds the dirt and water easily and you're left with comfortable, dry feet the whole time thanks to the very breathable eVent membrane.

Underneath, the grip is excellent and stops any slipping and sliding around whilst walking. The laces are held in position by locking lace hooks - meaning the boots stay in the perfect position for walking. The breaking-in period isn't long - with only a couple of days needed to soften all the right parts of the boots to allow for the riggers of trekking.
